I had the privilege to finally meet one of my blog readers from way back, who is now successfully homeschooling her 10 children and ministering to moms online through her site, Our Life Homeschooling! Sheri invited me to an interview and we talked a lot about the difference in schooling and education, what a difference it makes when we don’t try to recreate the classroom at home, and how damaging it is if we measure our kids simply by an academic standard. It was such a sweet & encouraging time, and I wish we could have talked longer!
