Apparently I have successfully imparted to my 4-year-old that as home-making-dominion-takers we must strive to see beauty in all things. Mallie tied ribbons around every object in the bathroom while her little sister took a bath.

She has productive hands. Β Some would say “messy” if they saw most of her “produce”, (“Mallie, did you fill all the Mason jars with rice?”) but I choose to look at the positive side.

  1. Dominion with tiolet brushes, huh? My niece has stolen our toilet brush before; does this mean children are our oppressors? πŸ˜›

  2. Cute! And not a bad idea either, since toilet brushes tend to be so – well – blah. πŸ™‚

I might just take a ribbon to mine as well. Avi and I could start a ‘ribbon revolution’! πŸ˜‰

  3. thanks for sharing. so cute! I’ve been working my way through Ann Voskamp’s book, One Thousand Gifts. I’m trying to look at my world through a more grateful lens. Having a creative (messy) child does have a positive side… I’m trying to find it over here. My creative one is a boy, so no ribbons are showing up on the toilet brush. πŸ™‚

  4. She is so cute! Gotta love her. πŸ™‚ I remember making big bows out of shimmery cellophane and taping them to my wall. I thought they were so beautiful at the time!
